Cityvine began with import of fresh and chilled New Zealand King Salmon into Sarawak. In response to making Sibu a Garden City, Cityvine introduced automobile exhibitions and also organized Sibu Tradex, an exhibition platform for local businesses at the Borneo Cultural Festival.

Foreseeing the need for skilled workforce, Cityvine ventured into skill development through acquisition of Rimbunan Hijau Academy. The group also diversified into biotech and entered the retail scene as the master franchisee of BMS Organics in Sarawak. The group begun its foray into the food and beverage industry, bringing natural and organic products to consumers catering growing demand for green products and healthy cooking.
